The project partners Porsche AG and WMU GmbH have concluded (15/07/2021) a cooperation agreement for the realization of the project “Joint design of vocational education and training and development of new projects within the framework of PAVE (Porsche Aftersales Vocational Education) and the Porsche Strategy 2030”. Together, the cooperation partners intend to create a “multiple win situation” by bundling (specialist) competences. The objectives of the parties’ global cooperation include the following topics:
WMU GmbH, as a long-standing and experienced education service provider in the field of vocational education and training, was invited to participate in the german-sino Investment and Cooperation Forum for Hidden Champion Companies. The event was organized by the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce in Chengdu, Chongqing and Qingdao. Dr. Jürgen Ude (State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Science and Digitalisation of the State of Saxony-Anhalt) gave a speech at the forum on the importance of vocational education and training in Germany and the role of the German vocational education and training system as an important factor in the development of Hidden Champions.
From 27.09.2019 to 29.09.2019 a method training for action-oriented teaching methods for vocational education took place in the Suzhou Institute of Construction & Communications. The teachers of the Vocational Institute were introduced to the different micro and macro methods and experienced them during the seminar.
From 21.07.2019 to 14.09.2019, Indonesian specialists and executives from vocational education and training will spend 8 weeks training in Germany. The program on behalf of the Indonesian MINISTRY OF RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGY AND HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA (MOHRTE) is intended to make an important contribution to improving the qualifications of the participants in terms of subject matter and pedagogy.

Exploration at Agro Bördegrün (agricultural company) near Magdeburg with visit to the biogas plant.
In the period from 29.06.2019 to 11.07.2019 WMU GmbH organized a professional study trip with participants from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and Tianjin University. The main topic was a detailed dialogue with the Baushaus Dessau. Well-known participants were Professors Lu Rui and Zhao Nailong. The importance of the study tour was underlined by the presence of Mr. Nietsche, mayor of Magdeburg.
At the same time, a three-day exhibition on “Chinese architecture in dialogue with the Bauhaus” took place in Magdeburg.
In August 2018, two seminars were held in Qinhuangdao and Handan in cooperation with Hebei De Bund Culture Communication Co. Ltd. The focus of the training was the development of a concrete lesson plan for the next school year using action-oriented methods. Through the active and participative design of the seminar, the participants of the training were able to experience the advantages of using modern methods themselves.
A group of health and education experts were present in Magdeburg and other European cities under the direction and organization of WMU.
An intensive exchange of experience with experts from the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and other interesting educational institutions from the health care sector was carried out.
In the period from 13.12.2017 to 24.12.2107 the ten experts collected many impressions and information on current topics.
In the period from 12.11.2017 to 25.11.2017, a group of school principals from vocational schools in Jiangsu Province visited Germany.
The school leaders informed themselves about the German dual education system and visited the important players in the vocational training system in various federal states. The technical dates were realized in Munich, Berlin, Magdeburg, Hannover and other places.
